For the seasoned hirer we keep it uncomplicated by allowing ordering online, confirmation of delivery or pick up so you can concentrate on getting your job done with quality equipment.

Damage Waivers
Tacex Damage Waiver Plus (TDWP) and Damage Waiver Basic (DWB) these two different damage waivers are not insurance however in certain circumstances will limit the financial liability of the customer to Tacex Hire for any damage or loss incurred. Refer to Tacex Hire Agreement
Collecting Hired Equipment
If you have planned to collect machinery ensure your tow vehicle is suitable. A vehicle with a tow rating 2600kg will have you covered. There are no requirements for an electric brake controller to be fitted to your vehicle, our Sureweld Trailers have mechanical brakes. Ensure to review our website for additional towing requirements. Remember we can always deliver if your unsure.

On each of our machines we have provided QR codes for Operational Techniques, Maintenance and Operations Manuals. Scanning of these codes by your smart device opens up a library of information and videos at your fingertips.

Tacex Youtube offers Operational Technique Videos giving you a head start when it comes to daily servicing, changing augers, drills or just simply greasing your machine.

Regular Maintenance
When you hire Machinery or a Tipper Truck for a long term hire, regular maintenance from the daily maintenance, through to the Off Base Maintenance Schedule (OMBS) will be required to keep the Machinery operating efficiently. We will provide you with timely Maintenance reminders via SMS and email.

Some days things just don’t go your way and when that happens QR Codes on each item of machinery enable your smart device to scan and populate a Maintenance/Issue web page to easily fill out. The information you provide may include photos or video showing any damage, issue or breakdown. With the knowlege at hand Tacex will swing into action and start the process of either replacing the hired item or repairing it as soon as practicable.

Extending your hire
If half way through your Hire you realise its going to take longer than you initially planned for, we will do our best to accommodate based on availability of the machinery or equipment. Call the Tacex Team at the depot you hired from, they can help guide you through the process.
Need to move machinery between job sites
When you have finished on one job site and neeed machinery relocated to another site, we can make it happen. A Tacex delivery team member can be there to move any of our machinery to where you need it within a few hours. Additional charges are applicable.

Returning Hired Equipment
The job is finished and its either time for the Tacex delivery team to collect from your site, or for you and your team to return hired items to their original hire location. The next job start Cleaning & Refueling. We can make your life easier and save time by offering at the time of booking a pre purchase credit for both fuel and cleaning. Let us finish of the final job for you, just add Clean & Fuel to the cart.
Cleaning
As you know cleaning is a task without he right equipment, we will clean a soiled Excavator or Skid Steer however we too have our limits. Any Heavily Soiled Machinery or Equipment will incur extra charges.
Fuel Allowance
Let our team at Tacex look after the Diesel by purchasing a Fuel Credit during initial booking so as you won’t need to worry about it later.

What to do if you are late. Charges?
When your late sometimes thats life, we give a grace period, however late fees can occur when you stretch it a bit too far.
